Outsourcing to third party answering services is a pretty common practice. The good news with Hostmonster is that they don't do that! Everyone you talk to on the phone or through the ticket forum is an actual Hostmonster employee.

In the past I've gotten answering services who literally just take the information for my ticket and submit it to a ticketing system where ANOTHER outsourced technical troubleshooting service answers my email whenever they feel up to it. Thats annoying.

I like knowing that the people I talk to not only know the product they are selling, but are GENUINELY concerned with me being satisfied with the level of service I receive. This usually means an employee of the company who has a stake in my issue getting resolved.
